• Instead of sauteeing in olive oil try sauteeing in organic vegetable broth to help cut the calories and fat.
• A sure way of packing on the pounds is by consuming too much sugar.  One of the ways we consume a lot of unnecessary sugar is by drinking too much soda.  There are approximately 13 teaspoons of sugar in a small can of soda!  You can eliminate many calories by switching to xylitol or stevia as your sweetener. Avoid artificial sweeteners at all costs!  Here is a soda recipe using the aforementioned sweeteners: 

          Homemade Soda:
                                        8 oz. Seltzer or Club Soda
                                        Squeeze the juice of one lemon or lime
                                       1/4 tsp xylitol or to taste

Note:  Using too much xylitol may cause digestive upset

• Instead of eating pastas try eating spaghetti squash topped off with a fresh tomato sauce to save on the high carbs from the pasta and fats from the oil
• Eliminate or reduce the caffeine (coffee, soda,…) - it exacerbates sweet cravings and can make you insulin resistant! Which will make it harder to lose weight.
• To help deter you from continuous eating, brush your teeth right after a meal or snack. If you are out and you can't brush your teeth carry a package of xylitol gum.
• Increase your fiber for appetite suppression and satiety
• Use balsamic vinegar and/or apple cider vinegar on your salads as it can help to support blood sugar and help cut the appetite

Protein Smoothie

8 oz. Water or 4 oz. Water and 4 oz. Rice/Almond Milk
1 Scoop Whey Protein (Ultra Lean Glucose)
1 tsp. Fiber  (Intestinal Purifier) or FiberPRo Karuna or herbulk
2 tsp. Raw Almond Butter
1 cup Frozen Berries

Blend all ingredients in a blender.  If using fresh fruit add 1/2 cup crushed ice.
