After being in this field for so long, we have come to realize there is not just one style of eating that works for everyone.  There are many things to consider when choosing a style of eating.  What is the persons body type? Do they have any present health concerns? What is there blood type? Are they overweight? Do they have blood sugar concerns? Etc etc.  There are many diets/food plans available today that can make the average reader very confused....Do I do Atkins? The Zone Diet? The Blood Type Diet? The South Beach Diet? The All Raw Diet? etc. Should I be a vegetarian? Should I be a vegetarian that eats dairy and/or eggs?  Should I be a complete vegan? Should I eat animal protein ? And so on...  You get the picture!

We feel it is important to listen to the person and how they feel after eating certain foods.  We like to utilize a diet recall list with a place to write down any signs or symptoms after eating such foods.  We also like to consider what style of diet a person is used to eating and whether that style is serving that individual well.  We also believe that, although a vegetarian diet can be wonderful if balanced properly....not all people are meant to be vegetarians and it is ok to bring in some animal protein where needed and where appropriate.  We also believe that the body is very intuitive and it knows what it needs.  It is very important to listen to this intuition and not block it just because you think that a particular food is "bad". 


We do, however, believe in eating a clean and complete wholesome diet....Consider the following:

  • If eating animal products, choose lean and organic or grassfed products whenever possible 
  • Assorted Fish ~ I.e.:  Wild Salmon
  • If eating dairy products, choose organic whenever possible
  • Eat a variety of veggies with plenty of leafy greens and salads daily
  • Drink Fresh Vegetable Juices
  • Plenty of purified water
  • Fresh Fruits
  • Choose Healthy Fats:  I.e.: Olives, Avocados, Cold Pressed Oils, Raw Nut/Seed Butters, Raw Nuts/Seeds, Cod Liver Oil, Fish Oil, Flax Seed Oil, etc.
  • If doing whole grains in moderation, choose Quinoa, Brown Rice, Buckwheat etc.
  • Fresh Beans/Legumes
  • Seaweed
  • Keep Organic Wholesome Sweeteners to a Minimum
